FAQs or How do You/How do I?

Ahhh the FAQ, Frequently Asked Questions, list of questions and answers or the guide to all the things you might ask me about how I work, how you order, whether I can make a particular thing etc etc. Here they are, neatly listed in one place!

1. GDPR - How do you use my information?

I only use the information shared through an order to be able to complete your order and post it to you. I do not store your information anywhere other than within the Etsy database and comply with their GDPR rules.

I never ever share your information with any third parties, this is not something new, I have never done that as I respect your right to privacy just as much as I desire it myself!

If you choose to contact me by email, I will reply to you but I will not add you to any contact lists unless you subscribe directly via the newsletter here.

2. How do I get a custom order and how does it work?

Simply send me a message on the chat box or via email to anyalou@me.com

It may be that you like a particular product but want it customised further than the variations available, or perhaps you'd like me to create something completely unique for you. I can do both.

When you message me I will reply within 24hours (often within the hour to be honest!) and start the conversation with you.

I'll ask for as much information as I need before quoting a price. If you are happy with the price I will then create a custom order just for you. You will receive a link to that custom order, only you can see it.

Once you add the order to your cart and complete the transaction I will then create the item for you within the agreed timescale.

Once you have made the order I will start making the item for you.

I always send progress photos so you can see how it is coming along and you have ample opportunity to make changes to the colours, style or design as the item is being created.

This means you have complete control over the outcome and can ensure you get exactly what you want. That's what custom orders should be right?

It also means that you may change your mind on a colour or design element, and that is just fine, we work together to get you the perfect item.

3. What Happens if I Don't Get My Parcel?

If your DOMESTIC (UK) order goes missing without update to tracking info for 18 days, I can offer a refund or replacement.

International orders without upgraded tracking cannot be offered the same. All listings have international tracking options available. If you are unsure, contact me for tracking options to international locations before purchasing.

4. Can I Get Gift Wrapping?

I currently do not offer a gift wrapping service. My white boxes are cardboard and stamped with a pretty floral image. Flowers are wrapped in red tissue paper and protected using recycled bubblewrap. I recycle as much of the bubblewrap and internal packaging as I can from supplier deliveries, I also use biodegradeable bubble wrap when I've run out of material from other packages.

5. Can I Order Wholesale

I am more than happy to offer wholesale discounts to businesses on orders above the value of £150. Get in touch with me to discuss. If you are a small business and are looking for smaller initial orders feel free to message me as I am always happy to support all other businesses.
